As many of you know Face and Body shut their doors effective December 15, 2023. We’ve seen many artists freaking out that their favorite numbing agents are leaving the industry for good. We understand and we have the alternatives you’ve been looking for!
First off, don’t worry too hard for now. We have stocked up and still have some of your favorite Face and Body numbing agents in stock and available, but they won’t last long since Face and Body will no longer be producing, distributing or selling any of their products. Please be cautious of purchasing so-called “Face and Body” products sold via Amazon, Alibaba, and other online retailers.
Their products will be missed, but we must find replacements in order to ensure the comfort of our clients, so now is the time to start finding a new favorite numbing agent! The good news? We planned for this and have several fantastic alternatives such as Feel Better Now, Blue Gel, Ultra Duration, Tag #45, Zensa and Numpot!

While we have numbing that’s safe for all new procedures, we are still in the process of sourcing a Non-Epi numbing agent to use for all Li-FT Saline Removal services. We will update you once we have secured one!
Overview
Substitute numbing safe for eyeliner: Numpot Gold and Zensa for prenumbing. However, Numpot cannot be used as a secondary for eyeliner. Feel Better Now should be your choice for secondary numbing for eyeliner procedures – but please be extremely careful to not get it in the eye.
Substitute numbing safe for brows, lips, areolas: Numpot Gold, Zensa, New & Improved Blue Gel, Feel Better Now, Tag #45 and Ultra Duration. These are all safe for prenumbing and secondary numbing for these procedures
Numpot Gold Numbing Cream
About: The original Numpot Gold 5% lidocaine cream is suitable for prenumbing all areas before PMU, and secondary numbing of the lips and brows. It’s a thick, moisturizing formula that doesn’t wash off with tears!

Zensa Topical Anesthetic

New & Improved Blue Gel - Secondary Numbing
About: Dermal Source’s New & Improved Blue Gel is a gel-based topical anesthetic in a 1 oz flip top squeeze bottle, for use during a pain sensitive procedure. This product combines two topical anesthetics with a vascular constrictor for reduction of swelling, bruising and bleeding. This is the anesthetic of choice for fast onset and reduction of swelling in areas such as lips or inner arms, where bruising and bleeding are a problem.

Feel Better Now! Secondary Gel

About: Original Professional Formula is for professional use only and/or export. Effective for control of pain and swelling after the skin is broken.

Ultra Duration Liquid Topical Anesthetic is one of PMU artists’ favorite topical anesthetics to keep clients comfortable during PMU procedures. It provides quick pain relief and reduces swelling within minutes. This product can be used for brows, lips or areola procedures during the treatment on open skin. Not recommended for eyeliner procedures.
