Have You Heard of Emergency Removal®?

by Teryn Darling September 21, 2022

Emergency Removal® is a technique I developed about 5 years ago due to a client’s sheer desperation. I’ve developed this amazing technique of removing bad brows and procedures within 48 hours of getting them done.

Prior to development, it was standard policy to have the procedure heal a minimum of six weeks before any removal could be attempted. This put us at a disadvantage, but this was industry protocol for over 25 years.

The client who changed everything had her brows done 24 hours prior to calling me. She was desperate and kept referring to her situation as an emergency, hence the term “Emergency Li-FT® removal.” I brought her in and attempted, for the very first time, to remove the pigment without using any needles or causing any additional trauma to the area. This moment was a moment I thought about for quite some time and I was super excited to see if in fact it would work. It took about 7 days to know the result and the result was…it worked! I went on to do several Emergency Li-FT® Removals before I concluded this was a technique that was safe, effective and deserving to be taught and applied.

To this date, it has been one of the best discoveries and contributions I have been able to make to the permanent makeup and pigment removal industry. Please note: The Emergency Li-FT® Removal technique is performed without any needles. No needles, nor any tattoo techniques or breaking into the skin in any way is used. This is a safe and gentle manner of lifting freshly implanted pigment from the area.

Once the skin is wounded, we have a short period of time before the epidermal crust is fully formed. Until that epidermal crust is fully formed, the area may accept and absorb the Li-FT® solution. It is best if the procedure is no more than 48 hours old. You may have some success up to 72 hours old, but experience proves up to 48 hours will bring the best lightening and lifting results.

Are you a licensed permanent makeup artist or body artist that would like to become trained in Emergency Li-FT® removal? I’ve taken the Emergency Removal section from the Li-FT® Saline Lightening Course and beefed it up into its own Mini-Course! If you’re interested in learning more about the Mini-Course,please visit the Academy.
