Proof of purchase is required to claim warranty.  This warranty is offered by the manufacturer Microbeau and not Girlz Ink.  All Microbeau machines bought through Girlz Ink ARE protected under this warranty and will be processed and serviced by Microbeau for one year from date of purchase.
