Recently we've been hit with an influx of questions regarding issues using Afterpay to checkout.
We understand the convenience and flexibility that Afterpay offers, and we want to ensure that you have all the necessary information to make your purchase experience as seamless as possible. We wanted to address a common concern that some of our customers have raised regarding the availability of Afterpay as a payment option during the checkout process.
If you are unable to see Afterpay as a payment option during checkout, please follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Ensure you are on the "Payment" section of the checkout: Afterpay does not appear as an option until you reach the stage where you are required to enter your card information. Please navigate to this section; you should see Afterpay located below where you would enter your card details.
You're logged in: Unfortunately, we've been experiencing a glitch that has caused Afterpay to not always display as an option when a customer is logged into their account. If you are unable to see Afterpay on the "Payment" page, please log out and try checking out as a guest.
Approval status: If you are requesting an amount that exceeds your approved limit, Afterpay may not display as a payment option. We advise you to contact Afterpay's customer support if you believe this to be an error or wish to inquire about your approval status.
We understand the importance of having flexible payment options, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the occasional unavailability of Afterpay.
With the problems we've experienced with Afterpay, we thought it important to share your other options. Shop Pay is another Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) service similar to Afterpay.
Shop Pay is a wallet that helps you check out faster by automatically filling in your saved email, payment and shipping details, enabling you to checkout with one click!
The following info is saved and securely encrypted for your future purchases:

You can save up to 20 shipping addresses and up to 10 credit cards with Shop Pay. Your mobile phone number is used for SMS verification of your account.
Which BNPL is best for you? It depends on your needs, preferences and size of your cart! Don't forget to check the interest rates and fees that Afterpay and Shop Pay might charge you as well (these may vary).
